Halo 5 Collectors Edition - Including disc too?

Hey guys.

So I found by the information of the MS website that there is a digital download code inside the collectors edition (the steelbook is still including too).

Does it mean that there is still the disc inside the steelbook or ONLY a download code?

I'm confused ...

Worst Halo Limited Edition so far.

Yeah compared to Every other Limited/collectors edition released for halo, The halo 5 limited Collectors edition was IMO pretty crappy when it comes to content package inside the case

Even the why they designed the Disc cover art sucks when compared to the regular edition Disc art, which is IMO a lot better designed then the Collectors edition



The Halo 5 limited edition was not worth $99.99

Should have been priced at $79.99 like every other Limited edition ever released for halo!

Fyi the reason they are doing this is because you got a prepaid to predownload it with the collectors edition rather then a disk

The limited edition is a disk copy vs the collectors was a code with physical items like the guardian etc

hmmm.. so GameStop wrote that the collectors edition includes the complete limited edition.

For me it seems that there will be a disc inside... But I'm not sure.

Can a MS admin confirm it?

 

I want the physical copy too or in not buy the collector!already the price is absurd, and even then the disc is in the package. with the code of the Microsoft Download Center you can wipe your ***!

Of course there will be a disc in the steelbook.

The digital codes are for the bonus content.

I see what you mean now. The UK version of Xbox.com doesn't say that.

Even the GAME website makes you think its a disc version.

But looking at the US website I can see why the OP is asking.

Seems really odd so sell a collectors edition and not include a disc. Could it be you get a digital download as well as a disc?

 

The GAME website has been updated now. The collectors edition original had a blue box with no mention of a download code but now it the same as the American one.

Really looks like it is download only. Just seems really odd to sell collectors edition as downloads instead of disc but then again GAME was selling State of Decay as a download only so starting to looks like they may slowly be trying to kill off discs.

 

I have buy a ps4 and sell my Xbox one. the collector versione without disc is no a very collector sorry but i love halo and this decision is not good for the fan. for me halo 4 is the ending of series. I continue to gaming whit 360 but i dont rebuy the one

So you sell xbox and get a ps4 just because an overpriced collectors edition doesn't have a disc but ok.

Seems an odd reason to switch to ps4 especially as it will never have halo. Hope you get more use out of your ps4 than I have out of mine.
