    I agree with you completely, Nappy. Halo had exactly ZERO influence on my decision to purchase either Xbox. Halo Wars is the only Halo game that I have really put any time into and its not even a "real" installment into the franchise. Halo 1 did indeed seal
    the deal for many who were on the fence around the Xbox/PS2 days but those days are LONG GONE and Halo isnt new anymore. Halo isnt "the" shooter anymore. Master Chief is the Sonic of Xbox so yes, the Halo franchise is important to the Xbox brand but it doesnt
    carry the platform like it did in its heyday. Honestly, the controller is what ultimately sold the XB1 for me. An improved version of the 360 controller? Sign me up!

    I want Halo 5 and the MC collection to stay Xbox One exclusive so that it might tempt some more users to the Xbox One, you all are going to have to upgrade sooner or later, I say sooner! haha =p

    Much respect ThugLife. Halo 5 is as Halo 3 was... not available on the previous generation console. And for that matter Halo 1 too... Halo 5 360 :)

    Even though I dont have a one yet and have no plans to buy it in the near future I do believe it would be a mistake to make this for the 360 (yes I love the Halo series Halo 5 360 :) ). For the future of the MS consoles, they really need a drawing card to get more
    people (including myself) to switch over to the next gen. Halo 5 only on the one would likely get a few more converts. Not to mention, they really need to push the limits of the next gen to show off the awesomeness of the console. I think if they did a
    cross gen it would just take away from all it could be.

    I would say that MS putting the Master Chief collection and then Halo 5 is as others have said to move people to the new console. And Halo still has a huge following. And it will influence a lot of people to buy. I personally know a few that decided on
    the One instead of the other console once they heard of the MCC and knowing that Halo 5 would be coming as well. Would be similar to the next Uncharted being PS4 only and fans of that moving to the new console to play. Or even a Zelda or Mario or something
    on a new Nintendo console.

    I believe that the next numbered (Halo 5) game has a good chance to be on the next console. There could be a "sidekick" game on 360 to hold us over until Halo 5. Though, I could see Halo 5 being on Xbox 360 and Halo 6 being on 720/Durango. I'm not betting
    on that, though. It would make more sense for Halo 5 to be the first Halo on 720/Durango and then Halo 6 being the last in the new trilogy. After they've developed Halo 5 for 720/Durango, they will know the limits of the console. Halo 6 will push the limits
    of the next Xbox just like Halo 4 is doing.
