Halo 4 Last Scene Help

Hi all,

I'm having some problems on the last scene of Halo 4 if anybody can please help? I feel like a complete idiot for asking, but I feel like I've ran out of options. Please excuse my description of the problem!

OK so I'm on the last scene (I believe) of Halo 4 with quick time event button press scenario. The screen says push 'LS' to crawl, so I push up on 'LS' and crawl forward, all OK so far. Then the screen says press 'RT' for machine gun, but no matter what
I do I just drop the bomb and get pushed off the edge resulting in me dying. I've tried holding RT, pressing RT, holding RT before the screen prompt, after the screen prompt and just as I reach the enemy, which all result in me still getting pushed off and
dying. I've tried reloading at rally point C and doing it all over but still results in me dying.

I've searched for walkthroughs and all just say to follow the on screen prompts, and youtube videos are no good because it doesn't show when or how the buttons are pressed.

As I say I feel a complete idiot asking this because I guess it should be so simple, what am I missing? Many thanks for any replies!

Just playing on normal. I've tried pressing immediately as the prompt comes on screen, just after, just before, and tried just pressing RT quickly and pressing and holding RT. I even thought my RT button might be faulty but it works OK for other games.

 

I had the same issue but then I figured it out. It's a little glitch with the scene, you really should press LT to plant the bomb instead. RT is to fire the machine gun, which you don't have.
