Halo 4 Install on 360 question

Sorry if this belongs somewhere else. I have disc 1 of Halo 4 installed on my external HDD & disc is installed on my internal HDD. When I played MP last night things seemed to be running slow (I got killed before my screen even fully loaded) & I was wondering
if anyone had any info on if having the 2 discs on separate HDD's might be the cause? Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with trying to install Halo 4. It looks like you've been through many troubleshooting steps provided by
KenH2k4 and Irixion, so thank you for hanging in there and updating us on what steps you've tried.

When you have a chance to answer, I have a few questions to run past you.

1. I see that your Halo 4 disc works on your friends Xbox 360. What Xbox 360 version does your friend own?
   
2. When you mentioned your Halo 4 disc works on your friends console, are you referring to you fully installing it and playing it with your own discs?
   
3. Have you installed and played other game discs on your console, recently?
   
4. Just to clarify, do you have an official Xbox 360 hard drive?

As far as troubleshooting goes, if you have access to a different Halo 4 install disc from your family or a friend, I would suggest trying to install that disc on to your Xbox 360. After that disc is done installing, go back to your original Halo 4 play
disc and try playing again.

can i use usb drive for installing???

i know that i cannot install games on my usb pen drive after some update come out, but can i install updates....

i wasn't able to install hd pack on my battlefield 3 on my usb it said that i need HDD to install

BUT MY QUESTION IS THAT....i am playing to buy halo 4 after its release and they are saying that i need to install things like sparton ops and war games....so can i install these things on my usb or i will be left disapointed like HDD texture pack of battlefield

What kind of hdd is it? Do you an official ms hdd in your console? I would think it would be best to have them both on the internal hdd. Also did say to install disc 1? I can't remember if you're supposed to install it or if it will mess up the game.

 

Disc 2 is installed to the Internal HDD which is a Microsoft 500gb. Disc 1 is installed to the External HDD which is a Western Digital 2TB.

 

Have you tried it since you had the issue? Maybe try it again and see what happens. If it still messed up you could Also try uninstalling disk 1 .
