Halo 4 glitched achievements

This is currently a big issue with Halo 4 that has not been addressed by 343 despite several playlist updates.

Several kill based achievements are glitched in Halo 4 multiplayer. Fortunately, only 1 achievement is glitched for me, but it is the final one I need, and I know there are several players dealing with similar issues with several achievements.

The achievement I have glitched is Ashes to Ashes. Is there any known way to get these glitched achievements?

Can you try re-earning the achievments? This might work now that you have cleared your cache. Remember, make sure you are playing in the "Crimson Map Pack DLC" playlist in matchmaking. Let me know if that works.

 

Halo 4 achievements glitched

They popped up like any other achievement unlocks when i was playing the game. They were all unlocked through playing the Crimson DLC playlist too.

It's weird, they don't appear as unlocked when viewing the game on my achievement list but when i select Halo 4 from the list and view all the achievements for the game they are unlocked there. It's like they've only half unlocked somehow. I deleted the
pack, cleared the cache and downloaded it again and they still aren't showing up right.

 

This is a known glitched achievement, here are some suggestions on how to get it.

UPDATE 3: 27/12/2013 In a forum thread there are players trying to look for a solution by informing to 343i. You can see the thread in the comments area below. Therefore all we know about this glitch is that they are still working on it.

UPDATE 2: As of 9/4/2013 this achievement is glitched for those who purchased the Champions Bundle DLC. If you haven't bought the new DLC unlock them first and save a big headache! They are players trying to contact 343i for the issue.

UPDATE: The Light Rifle kills does not count for this achievement.

First of all this is a cumulative achievement. In other words it can be done by killing players in different matches except on swat (obviously).

Weapons that work for this:

-Pulse Grenade

-Scattershot

-Incineration Cannon

-Light Rifle

-Binary Rifle

I recommend equipping Support Upgrade: Ordnance Priority because it gives you a boost with the point to get an ordnance. Just play until you get an ordnance and choose any of the weapons mentioned above. If you want t increase your odds equip pulse grenades
and a boltshot and get some lucky kills.

 

I am affected by this issue as well, and as a huge XBL fan and a day one owner of the Xbox One, I have been anxiously waiting a fix for these achievements for almost a year now with no update or eta from 343i. As a huge Halo fan I do not plan to buy the
Master Chief Collection until this is fixed, as I must vote with my wallet. As a fan who wants to get 100% completion in all halo games this is disappointing. I have tweeted members of both 343i and Microsoft hundreds of times with no response, and I'm losing
hope. All I want to do is complete my great journey.

Here is the thread on the official Halo forums. It has over 25 pages of people who are currently trying to get these achievements but cannot due to the glitch. The glitch affects all accumulative DLC achievements and 343i only acknowledges that 6 are glitches,
however 9 achievements in Halo 4 are glitches, although 343i refuses to acknowledge that and update the thread:

also their was something about to keep going in rank you have to select witch one you want to start for special ranks.

 

I am affected by this achievement glitch. Prior to Halo 4 I had 100% Halo achievements. Need this fixed so I can 100% Halo 4.

 

Still broken, need one achievement, come on microsoft, its a first party dev, get on it

 

Two achievements left. 12 in total across all Halo games on the 360. Patch this because its long overdue and I need to focus on getting General in Halo Wars kthxbye

 

I'll throw my name in the hat too; Ashes to Ashes, Hello Nurse and Size is Everything still glitched for me. I have tried every suggestion online with no luck. When will this be fixed?

They haven't updated it for over a year; worst part is that 343i's title update (TU) is what caused the achievements to glitch. Many have commented on halowaypoint, the devs simply don't care. They even Big Brother'd my wife and my accounts (they banned
