Halo 4 DLC Map question.

So I got bored of halo 4 maps and I bought the two map packs castle and crimson. Now I mainly only play big team battle because I find 4 v 4 boring, and when I looked up the maps for halo 4 crimson and castle had the biggest maps and they were labeled big
team battle, but whenever I go to play big team battle it says that thing "players do not have recommended dlc" and I NEVER get a choice of any of the new maps. But when I play stuff like SWAT , CTF, or 4v4 slayer I get like 1 new map and that's solace. do
I need to buy the last map pack to play these other maps?

Note: If this is in the wrong section of the forums please tell me and I will remake it in the right section, or a Mod could just move it for me.

Why would there be DLC when we are already getting every Halo map. Actually better question... Who would WANT DLC when we are already getting every halo map...

 

The playlist should mention what DLC is required if any.

 

What do you mean playlist could you explain?

 

You need to play with friends who have the same maps like you do.

If not you can not play them.

It is pretty rare to find random people to play this maps on big team.

You could keep an eye on this thread here to see what´s new in matchmaking in Halo 4 :

However there is also a DLC game mode ones in a while where you could play your maps.

Solace is too small for BTB.
