    Halo 3 Xbox 360 cloud save not working on Xbox One


    I tried the recent backward compatibility of Halo 3 on Xbox 360 with my Xbox One and the save is not working. The save was from my Xbox 360 cloud save and it works there. Whenever I insert my disk in to the Xbox One it prompted to install, which I did.
    Once I started the game, I got the prompt for the cloud save data which I selected. Once at the game menu, I picked Continue Single Player game. The game starts the briefly shows a third person view of Master Chief with flames around him. Then I get kicked
    back to the main menu. A second attempt has the same results.

    Anything I can do to get this working with my 360 cloud saves on my One?

    I ran into the following situation when we tried to play the 360 version of Borderlands on our home Xbox One:

    1. I noticed my Borderlands 2 save file was not under my cloud saves so I hooked up my old Xbox 360 to copy my save file over to the Cloud.

    2. When I tried, I could not copy my wife's save files (different gamertag) to the cloud save files (Igot an error saying it wasn't transferable between profiles). She is technically silver on the 360 (maybe?).

    3. Back on the One I verified my characters were accessible. This is when I noticed my wife's profile had a cloud save account different than mine (due to Xbox One family gold sharing?)

    TLDR

    Is there any way to get my wife's save file on the Xbox One's xbox 360 cloud saves? (via USB or Hard Drive or any other method)

    Or if we buy one month of xbox live on the 360 to get the cloud saves feature for my wife's account, when it expires will my wife lose those cloud saves on the Xbox One's xbox 360 cloud saves?

    Apologies for the delayed reply! On your Xbox 360 console, do you still have the Gears of War 3 beta save file when you check your save files? If so, try

    syncing that save to the cloud     and launch Gears of War 3 on your Xbox One console to check if the skins appear. Be sure to check Gears of War 3's 'Manage game' screen to see if any additional content appears in 'Ready to install'.

    If you do not have the Gears of War 3 beta save on your Xbox 360, unfortunately the skins will not work on the Xbox One. We are unable to provide this content if this is the case.

    I cant copy/move any saves to cloud storage from xbox 360 ?

    skate 3 does have cloud save enabled. its been on xbox one for years now. when it first came to xbox one i uploaded my save to the cloud storage. i just cant seem to do it again. also to my knowledge cloud saving has been on 360 before the xbox one even came out. i cant even move cloud enabled saves to my cloud storage, thats my problem. i can only take saves out of my cloud storage on my 360. there's even youtube vidoes of people uploading skaters in 2022 and beyond.

    Troubleshoot cloud storage on Xbox 360    . At this point, it seems like the cloud saves were unsuccessful on the Xbox 360. This article will assist you to enable the setting on the Xbox 360. The log in to the Xbox one will seem altered due to the unsuccessful
    save from the cloud.

    Try this and let us know the results.
