halo 3 won't progress through campaigns

Discus and support halo 3 won't progress through campaigns in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am referring to the xbox one x update.     halo 3 won't progress through campaigns


    I am referring to the xbox one x update. Playing the game through, it loops through campaigns alway back to "find Cortana" so that I can not complete the game. I should be playing The Flood's crashed spaceship.

    Halo x for 360 won't save

    Did you play the Halo 3 multiplayer disc BEFORE actually playing Halo 3? When I first got my Xbox Live, I played the multiplayer for Halo 3, then got Halo 3. I started the campaign for Halo 3, and it won't save my progress every time I turn off my Xbox.
    Did the same, recovered gamertag, cleared chache, even called customer support. This is some sort of anamoly/bug that from what I gathered hasn't been patched. halo 3 won't progress through campaigns :( So, we may be out of luck.

    Compared to all Halos where do you rate this Campaign?

    1. Halo 3: ODST

    2. Halo: Reach

    3. Halo 4

    4. Halo 3

    5. Halo: CE/ Anniversary

    6. Halo 2

    My list is based on how many times I've played through the entire campaign.

    Hello. This is a very odd issue you’re having. Is there any way you can reload a previous save or even uninstall then reinstall the game?

    Finished Halo 3, which Halo next?

    I would play Reach and then Halo 4. ODST plays and looks like Halo 3, but you aren't a spartan and the campaign is unlike any other Halo game in the campaign progression. Not bad or great, but I would skip over it since you won't miss anything all that important.

    Install time?

    For me, it took about an hour and a half to get to 100% But I was able to start the Halo: CE campaign pretty early, maybe around 20% overall progress. But if are in game, the menu shows the progress of each game individually. My Halo: CE and Halo 4 were
    done first, then Halo 2 and Halo 3 was last for me. But I was not able to play online until the game was 100%, that also includes co-op campaign(online, i cannot speak of local).

    Good luck, hopefully it picks up for you, I am having a blast with the Halo: CE campaign(Legendary is kickin my butt)

    I played the campaigns for Halo 1 through 3 without an any issues.

    My only known issue is resuming the Halo 4 campaign, as that is the only thing I am trying to play.
