    HALO 3 SLOOOOOOOOOOW LOADING TIMES


    Hi. I'm trying to play Halo 3 in a Xbox 360S and levels take AGES to load. The game is not installed in the hard drive as recommended by Bungie. Any other game downloaded or with the use of a disc plays fine, but is this Halo 3 what takes forever to load.

    It's until the meeting point where everything goes ok, but the the "loading" is veeeeeeeery slow, about 10 or more seconds every 1% that counts.

    What can I do?

    I think it started on the only game that has trouble with loading times on a HDD & that is HALO 3... Like, who cares anyway, Mister Technical... Every other game is faster on the HDD...

    Installing Game Does Nothing!

    Wasn't one of the earlier Halo games (Halo 3 as I recall) one of the few that loading to HDD did not help? As I recall the Halo 3 had built in HDD buffering, so loading it meant it made a buffer from HDD to HDD. Now I would hope CE does not do that, as with
    the game loaded I no longer see "buffering" when I start. But now you have me curious and I will pay attention.

    Netflix. Changed my password on the website. Rebooted the Xbox.

    Got disconnected from live AGAIN. rebooted Xbox. Loaded Netflix app. Logged in with new password.

    Netflix worked. Stupid bug.

    Xbox live is still playing silly buggers. Still randomly disconnecting after sloooooooooow login (or a failed login). Very very annoying.

    Installing games does reduce load times, save for Halo 3. This is because of how Bungie developed the caching for that game.
    Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Disc 2, and one other game (don't recall which as I don't own it) actually take longer to load when installed to the HDD. Any other Xbox 360 game loads faster or the same when installed to the HDD>
