    Halo 3 on Xbox One will not allow child account to save profile


    I have a child account and he wants to play Halo 3, (360 back port). I can play game on my account, but when he goes in, it prompts to play with a temporary profile that cannot save the Solo game. It resets and clearly is not playable without saving. I have tried all settings and he is currently set to Any age with no other restrictions. I've restarted game and nothing works. Is there a limit on using child accounts for old 360 games?

    You may want to try this

    Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    Then sign the profile out of the Xbox and back in so the changes take effect.

    If you're in a family account the parent/person in charge of it has to make the changes for you.

    Here are the steps

    Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    If you're in a family account you need whoever is in change of it to make the changes for you. Here are the steps.

    Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    Click save at the bottom!

    When you've done all this and saved everything be sure to sign the profile out and then back in so the new changes take affect.
