Halo 3 ODST for FREE!!!!!

Really looking forward to playing halo 3 ODST campaign. Had a lot of good times with friends playing it. It's a shame the firefight mode won't be added though.

@ Blue: it still has NOTHING to do with the MC specifically. Halo Reach at least sets up his arrival and eventual and fateful meetup with Cortana.

@GG, sooo... let's see, we don't play as MC in Reach, we only see him as a super quick cameo which 'sets up' his arrival at the Halo ring. Yet that differs from ODST because even though we still don't get to play as MC... we don't see him... even though
ODST 'sets up' his arrival in Halo 3. Ooookaaay... see it how you want.

It does not matter if it has anything to do with MC at all. The Halo MC Collection was all about Master Chief. They never said this is part of a collection, it's just a "were sorry our games were jacked up for a while. Here have a free game. Thanks and please

The Halo MC Collection was all about Master Chief.

JMPO, but any game in the Halo series is about MC, with the only difference being in a direct or indirect way. None of them would exist if not for his story.

True enough. But just for the sake of reference to support my viewpoint, ODST was originally supposed to be a DLC expansion... however, the whole project grew to such an extent
that they decided to just make it a separate, full game. The proof is on the very cover... Halo 3: ODST... because it was originally supposed to be an expansion of Halo 3.

This game was the obvious choice for a 'we're sorry our game was jacked up for awhile' compensation gift. Had it not grown beyond its original scope and just stayed DLC, it would've
been part of TMCC to begin with.

Sorry but you have had to play within the time frame that was specified in order to qualify for the free Halo ODST. The relic remake should be made available to you as everybody got given that for free. You can download Halo 3 ODST from the online store
for $5.00.

I am getting the Halo 3 ODST campaign as part of the Master Chief Collection for free as compensation for playing during the troubles of it's launch. So don't need to pay for it on Xbox One.
