Halo 3 ODST for FREE!!!!!

Happy days , best of all the Halo campaigns in my opinion, great music as well!

 

I wonder if I'd get this since I got MCC refunded.

 

Thats great loved ODST only problem i had with MCC was with achievements taking forever to unlock i didnt play MP so cant comment on that hats off to microsoft for owning up 2 it an trying 2 make up 4 it

 

It's like getting offered candy after you've been slapped in the face! Apparently some people like that!

 

Well I have paid for it. Just like LIMBO.

 

They took 4 games for from 2 generations of consoles and tried to make them work on the new architecture of the Xbox One and the Azure servers. It was bound to have issues.. This is the second time Bonnie Ross has apologised too. They really don't deserve
all the trash talk they have been getting. Some people have even gave them death threats for Christ's sake..

 

I really don't understand the hassle either. If it was halo 5 that turned up with poor match making yes but 4 old halo campaigns with upgrades plus 100 maps for MP for the price of one new game, is fantastic regardless and they have made big efforts to fix
the problem. I'm enjoying playing Halo CE again and nightfall was great also. People need to chill and look at the big picture sometimes.

How about M throw us 360 Halo 4 gamers some love by giving us Halo 4 - Spartan Ops playable offline!

 

Yop,343 is doing a good job,even with issues in Halo MCC,343 still provide updates to fix it and gives extra contents....

Not the case with some other games publishers.

Seriously? ODST deals with the situation on Earth and events that happened just prior to MC's arrival, aboard Truth's ship, at the end of Halo 2. It, in essence, sets the stage
for the situation on Earth at the beginning of Halo 3... and you're asking what it has to do with MC?

In any case, I couldn't agree more with Chemist's post... it would be different if it was a new game made for the X1, but it is not. In fact, it is 4 games, half of which go back
2 console generations. Not saying it should've been released the way it was... but any game that's been remastered for a new/different console is just going to have bugs/glitches. Simple as that. Those who are just irate, raging and throwing tantrums have
zero sense of context IMO.

 

I thought ODST campaign was really good. Quite a change of pace from other Halo games and an interesting story.

 

I actually disagree with the notion people shouldn't be upset about matchmaking issues with this game, just because it is a collection of remakes. This game still cost $60, the same as Halo 5 will (presumably). Plus, it was heavily marketed based on its
huge multiplayer. So, a lot of the people who purchased it did so mainly for the multiplayer, only to find out they cant play the multiplayer.

 

Yes but it's a game with a long mp shelf life with that amount of content. To think it's all over after a few weeks knowing that 343 will make it work is the problem. Play something else until it's fixed.

I could just as easily say most bought it for the campaigns rather than multiplayer. Both were the focus of marketing when it came to this game. And therefore wasn't an issue for someone like myself who could play the campaigns.
