halo 2 product key not working

I bought halo 2 for pc from an old game store in the city close to me and was told it was unopened and in mint condition and I brought it home installed it and tried the product key and it didn't work so I thought maybe itll work later so I tried to enter
it when I was in game and that didn't work either it says ive exceeded the amount of times I can use my product key I really love this game and want to play it again I looked online and a lot of other people have had the same problem and they said to try Microsoft
support and I wasn't given an error so chat didn't work so I came here please help me I really want to play this again

Product key? I don't need a product key to play Halo 2? I'm not quite sure what you're talking about.

 

Product Key not working

So I got my product key, and it doesn't seem to work when I put it in. I have tried multiple times, and nothing comes from it? And to top it off, I can't even get into the beta forums. Anyone know what is going on? Or what I should do?

 

Have you tried to contact the store ?

 

i just did and i cannot enter my first name or last in the required fields -_-
