halo 2 not playing on 360

I have halo 2 live in disc form that I'm trying to play on a 360. I have a 250g internal hard drive. ive tried everything it still wont play.

Can xbox live communicate across both systems?

I remember playing Halo 2 on 360 against people playing it on the original.

Yes but that was the same version Halo 2. The 360 was backwards compatible.

Battlefield 4 on xbox one and 360 will be different versions of the game so you wont be able to play against each other.

Is this an Official Xbox 360 250gb hard drive? Does the disc have any scratches or smudges and are you connected to Xbox Live while you're trying to play?

Does Halo 2 count if played on the 360? If so, that's my choice... If not, then Halo 3 hands down.

I do not see the need to "Purchase" a whole new system in order to get Halo: TMCC. 343 needs to put out a version for the 360 & Microsoft needs to understand not everyone is going to switch to X1, just because it's the newest system they have & the only
way currently to play Halo 2 Anniversary. The 360 is still a viable system. Better still 343 could just issue a version of Halo 2 Anniversary for the 360 since you can still play everything from Halo to Halo Spartan Assault on the 360.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft & 343 also exclude the 360 from playing the 2 newer versions of Halo coming out soon. Halo Guardians & the newer Spartan.
