[/quote]Halo 4 wasn't laden with microtransactions and it wasn't done by Bungie. I will hold off any judgement until I have had a chance to play the game. I have made the mistake in the past where I made up my mind before it even came out, then months
later I happened to give the game a chance and found myself regretting for making my mind up on something before I have even had a chance to play it.

 

I would love to see a bundle with all of the Halo games come to the XB1, personally I found Halo 2 the best.

 

Well if Halo 2 Anniversary is better than the Halo CE Anniversary, and was NOTHING more than an HD remake, giving us Halo 2 multiplayer on HD remake of the maps, I would enjoy it SIGNIFICANTLY more than this new fanmade Halo that 343 made with Halo 4.

 

I really enjoyed those maps. Especially big team maps. The new games are good to, they done some good stuff with them, like forge. But nothing beats 2 and 3's online mode. And maps.

 

Halo 2 was plagued with graphical glitches and pop-ins. The original Xbox just couldn't keep up with the game, but it was fun regardless. If an Anniversary edition means improved graphics with no hiccups then I would love to revisit this game.

 

wow let halo die already...stop letting the devs get by with just rehashing old games and tell them to shove it up their tail ends and come up with something newer and more innovative. The only Halo I would take a sequel to right now is Halo Wars and thats
because theres a lack of RTS on the Xbox One. Other then that...let HALO DIE! Talk about beating a dead horse.

Because it won't really feel like "HALO 2" without texture pop.

 

Because people wanting to relive old past times for $39.99, with next-gen graphics and new servers (hopefully still with the old multiplayer feel though), I'd rather have Halo 2 Anniversary than Halo 5. Destiny, Watch Dogs, etc are being delayed. I WANT

Halo 2 was my favorite out of the series, if the alleged remake is within reasonable price I will buy it.

 

I can't honestly see why so many people want this Halo 2 Anniversary edition so bad (Though not tos ay if it did come out i wouldn't buy it) as if it'll "revive" the series again. OK 1st of all, Halo isn't dead, just because
everybody else suddenly decided Halo was trash since possibly Halo 3-4. 2nd, there's other rumors going around about the inbclusion of a Halo 3 and 4 XBox One ports, (Gee, how convenient.... no mention of ODST or Reach Definitely a false rumor) Halo 5 beta
access as well as to the live action Halo TV series. All in all, I don't see what difference it's going to make seeings what 343 Industries has done with with the Combat Evovled Anniversary edition as far as MP, which in my opinion because I move forward
with the series, isn't really al bad. As for Halo 5, I don't see this as a conflict for 343 Industries making it how the we the fans want it, I actually have some basic/generalidieas I just haven't gotten around to poting yet in that forum. Heck, if anything,
I just hope since they keep dishing out bigger maps (Running farther and farther from thing justruins all the fun) they'll maybe get around to giving out larger scale battles, range all the weapons and vehicles, everything from CE-4 including Halo Wars even,
perhaps the use of different classes for a change; Covenant, Forerunners, etc. How hard can it be, and knowing it isn't just 1 type? I don't see why they couldn't break them with all the different customizations, we have enough for Spartans alone.

 

If it comes out, I'm buying it. Some of the online maps were great. And the custom games I used to get into.... Whew. Hopefully they'll include a infection gametype as the original didn't have it

 

igotFondabrain, I was agreeing with you up until you mentioned ruining one of the best things about Halo 2. Not having an actual infection mode is what made Halo 2 Infection so amazing! Sorry but it'd be like saying, I hope they add jetpacks so we can pretend
we're HaloJumping.

 

A lot of custom games on halo 2 WERE infection games, tho. Are you telling me you wouldn't jump into a few of those?

 

Heck yes I'd jumped into them because they were just that, truly CUSTOM games. Infection on Halo has NEVER felt the same since they made it an actual gametype.

 

Would be amazing big halo fan, and the Anniversary is around the corner.
