    Halo 2 completed game crash


    Hi,

    Last night I completed Halo 2 on Legendary. The game crashed just after the cut scene of the giant tentacle telling Cortana it was going to ask questions.

    When I rebooted the game, I noticed that my save had now disappeared, I have not received any of the achievements for completing the game, and the game is now telling me that I have not completed mission 'Regret', which I find quite strange, as I played
    the game as a campaign from start to finish.

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Can I roll back my cloud save file to an earlier version?

    Or will I have to just replay 'Regret' and 'The Great Journey' as separate missions to get the achievements for completing the game?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Game support after the honeymoon period......

    I agree. When games are cranked out on a yearly basis, it does take something away from the experience.

    Sorry to hear it. It does sound as though the final scene didn't register. As such you will need to replay that mission over.

    Hey Greg!

    Congrats on making it through Halo 2 on Legendary. Those Jackal snipers are definitely not that fun to fight through! The bad news is that you will have to re-play some of the missions in order to complete the Halo 2 campaign on Legendary. I looked at your

    Halo MCC Service Record     and noticed that these missions are marked incomplete:

    • Regret
    • Gravemind
    • Uprising
    • The Great Journey

    While there's no way to roll back the cloud saves or anything, you don't have to play the entire campaign from start to finish again. From the campaign menu selection you can simply load the level you need on Legendary with whatever skulls you'd like and
    play through them.

    Good luck! You did it once, you can totally do it again. Halo 2 completed game crash :)
