Halo 2 anniversary RTX panel (new gameplay)

I was thinking that too, great in my opinion.

 

What I'm curious about is movement speed, I just played a system link game with my sons, it was slayer on Zanzibar, and I tell you what, it's so slow compared to Halo 4 and other newer shooters, it needs pacing up a bit.

 

The developers in the RTX panel discussed movement speed and jumping so I'm sure that's something they've been working on, ET.

The Locke tie-in is something I'm definitely curious about, especially if it involves Arbiter, which is 1 of my favorite Halo characters (Keith David FTW!). I haven't heard of the Nightfall series/saga up until now, so that's going to be excited to see too,
I think as it apparently involves Locke directly.

 

So by the sounds of it locke works for the arbiter UNSC want the chief to go after the arbiter but the chief prob wont kill the arbiter and locke will prob try stop chief but then they work togeather. btw id love a forza 5 meet up on halo and use the gungoose

the nightfall is being done by riddly scott i think is his name. nightfall isnt out till next year round the same time as halo 5 anyway but we get teased by terminals bonnie ross did say the chief is still the main person in halo 5

 

I don't think Nightfall will start that late....If 343i include it in Halo Master Chief collection,it should start sooner than later.Ridley Scott is an exclusive producer for this project.

@ Galactic Geek : Nightfall should be about Locke,something similar (but bigger) to what Forward into dawn is for Lasky background story.

 

I love how what they did with the Halo ring. It looks amazing now!

 

That Arbiter trailer got me weak. By far the best Halo character. So thrilled that he is coming back.

Are you sure it was Nightfall,because in Fall 2015 there is a Halo TV shown (produced by Spielberg) coming along with Halo 5 Guardians.

I haven't watched the full show yet but can someone please clarify; How many multiplayer "suites" are the "100+" maps divided into? Is it as straightforward as original releases? So:

Halo: CE Anniversary (classic maps, Reach engine)

Halo 2 Anniversary (6 remastered maps, AND the classics)

Halo 3 and all dlc

Halo 4 and all dlc

If so, I appreciate the fidelity but not sure how I feel about dividing the community so much. Halo 2 and 3 multiplayer will be receiving all the attention, and I imagine the Reach-powered maps of Halo: CEA will be a ghost town.

 

There are several lobbies.

Halo 2 anniversary.

Team slayer (which includes a bunch of Halo 1,2,3,4 maps)

Big team battle (Halo 1,2,3,4 maps)

Halo CE

Halo 2

Halo 3

Halo 4

There is another lobby but don't remember which one.

There are maps and game modes for everybody.

My guess,most people will play Team Slayer and Big team Battle,but that doesn't means the rest will be empty.

PS: That's what i thought,Nightfall starting this year,Spielberg TV show next year with Halo Guardians.

 

I see. So like the custom campaign playlists, the mulitplayer lobbies just "visit" each game depending on map size or suitability.
