Halo 2 anniversary, if true get HYPE

I'M Sorry if i am way to happy, but if these rumors are true about halo 2, well get ready. Halo 2, broke records on xbox . It will be a system seller 100%. Expect lost of halo fans, who played halo 2, will buy the game. People need to talk to talk about
this if, it is announced at E3. Playstation y'all had a good fight, but consider E3, your death lmfaooo.

Are you buying the next Halo?

I preferred Halo CE too and did strike every Halo till there was Anniversary.

Then I gave them all a new try. I still prefer Halo 4 and Anniversary.

I can´t agree with the HAlo 2 or Halo 3 hype lol

Halo 2 was the sole reason I spent money to get Cable internet & an XBL subscription back in 2004 after a few friends let me try it out. It was my first true online addiction. It set the bar for online console gaming and still, to this day, many games can't
even hit that status. (looking at you BF4)

As much as I played the ever loving hell out of it in 2004-2006, I don't think it could do that to me again. I will make a purchase of the game & I'm sure I'll have fun with it, but it won't catch lightning in a bottle again.

Hopefully they pump it full of content & the campaign is online co-op. Although I did play through the single player campaign once, it was quickly forgotten because playing online in a party with friends was where the real fun was at.

 

Dual wield in Halo 2.... the SMG was weak. Still not Halo..... Halo set all FPS shooting standards IMO

Yeah it won't bring back the original magic, just give most gamers a nostalgic trip down memory lane. I'm not complaining though!

 

I always found it interesting that Halo 2's SMG was supposed to fire caseless ammo, but if you look at the model, it obviously had an ejection port for bullet casings... ><

I will only be hyped up about the game if they balance out the gameplay & remove the BXR exploit with the Battle Rifle.

Not hyped at all. I'll more than likely get it for the co-op alone.

 

I wouldn't mind playing through the campaign and co-op, not interested in MP though.

Like said above though, I'm more interested in Halo 5. Just a bit concerned that we are starting to hear about quite a few "HD remakes", "Re-mastered editions", great for people that haven't played them before but personally I'd rather "new" games.

I'll pick it up if it's true, but I can't see it being a console seller, not with all the other games that will launch this year, there's loads more I would buy before a re-make.

 

Yeah, I'm hyped. Memories of 2004 LAN games will launch the money straight out of my wallet. I'd also prefer to see 343i using the groundwork of Halo 2 to cut their teeth on a new engine before jumping head first into Halo 5.
