    Half my screen is black / flickering. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    I've tried different hdmi cables, different ports, and power cycling it with no luck.

    The Smart TV functions work fine so I know it's not the TV.

    I bought the system in late November of last year.

    Anyone have similar issues or know of a fix?

    Screen is flickering

    Hello,

    When i have my xbox turned on, my tv keeps flickering into a black screen, it happens reguarly and is very frustrating, for example;



    I will be playing a game and every few seconds the screen will flicker into a black screen and then back to normal, it does it randomly and reguarly.



    The TV is a 32" Toshiba Regza, i am using a HDMI cable- i have never had any problems with it until now, its just started to happen recently.



    Any help?

    Hey xstandfontx,

    That's not looking too healthy, let's see what can be done here.

    If you go to Settings >> Display, check that your Resolution is set to a level that your monitor supports.

    You may also try going into your monitor's settings and doing a factory reset, just in case.

    Let me know how you get on.

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.
