I've never played a L4D game, but I love the Half-Life games. HL3 is long overdue and it would really help push their new system.

 

Valve don't believe the number three exists.

People are still waiting on Half Life 2: Episode 3 after all.

 

It's true, Valve can't count to three. They try, but it's just like...

"Hey Gabe, what comes after two?"

"It's uhhh....I think it's.....I don't know. Whatever. Let's just make a new IP"

 

I posted this in the XB1 forum but they are busy arguing about kinect and resolution.

L4D was an xbox exclusive correct? I wonder if it will stay that way?

 

It's an interesting question. Both L4D games have had no issue reaching sales expectations solely on the Xbox 360 platform, so they really have no reason to terminate the console exclusivity, unless they just want their
IP to reach an even broader audience & generate even more income.

Valve's target audience is PC anyway, so I'm not sure if they worry too much about console exclusives. Regardless of platform(s), I'm really looking forward to a Left 4 Dead 3. I'm a huge fan of that series.

 

Sounds like he was certain about Left 4 Dead which gets me pretty excited, I don't want to get my hopes up though!

 

The developer of those IP are dumb. They do not count beyond 2. They say 1 2 then say I do not know what gose next. I can go on beyond that a say 3 then 4 and then 5 and so on.

If they announced a new Left 4 Dead at E3... God too much excite.

Can't even count how many hours I put into the first 2 games.

 

I'm pretty excited for L4D now that I read this. Hopefully they actually go through and announce the games officially.

 

I'll believe it when I see some gameplay footage.

 

I'll be happy with HL3. I played HL2 just recently for the first time on my PC. It was really great, even if it's a 10 year old game.

 

It'll probably be another 3-5 years before we see either game.
