Had xbox one a week

So first off I will start by saying I own both consoles, I have had the other console for a while. felt i was betraying xbox since I was a big 360 fan. So I bought the One. My question is

What is going to come out soon thats big and amazing?

and also what should I download app wise and etc? lol Im still super new and its a good bti different then my 360 was.

Xbox One repair and turn - around time

When I had to send 2 of my 360s off to get repaired, I had a new one back within a week. I have not thankfully had any issues with Xbox One.

 

24 hour check in question

From what I am reading, Xbox One will require a "check in" every 24 hours. What happens in the event of a power outage. I live in an area that was hit by Sandy last year, I had no power for a week, others had no power for weeks and months. What happens
when you move and don't unpack your xbox for a week or so?

 

As for the apps and games...You need to answer these questions yourself... seriously... those are all opinions...

Just do what everyone else did... sit down and start pressing buttons.. or speaking if you bought one with a kinect...

 

If i were you i would pick up Ryse son of rome, Sunset overdrive an Halo mcc all xbox exclusives and very good in my opinion before all the games start rolling in

So titanfall si worth getting still? was a bit worried not many people played since destiny came out

and is the kinect worth buying in your opinion?

 

I have the Day one Edition with Kinect and I use kinect everyday. Sure its just to turn the system on and switch between apps but I like it. It works about 98% of the time for me.

You will find others though that hate the Kinect because it doesn't respond well to them or for whatever other reasons they may have. That's fine to each their own. It boils down to what will you use the Kinect for; and that's left up to you.

 

Oh heck yea Titanfall is loaded with people especially campaign, hardpoint and attrition mode. I recently started this with season pass and it's my favorite multiplayer to date. Def agree with game suggestions above plus add Forza 5 to the mix and keep a
look out for upcoming games like Forza 6, Quantum Break and the FTP Neverwinter.

and yeah I would use the kinect for voice commands only. dont care bout games but think the voice stuff is frigging cool.

 

The Xbox One Kinect is 10 times better than the 360 Kinect for voice commands alone avoid the naysayers on it. I'm 38 and not really into flopping my arms and legs everywhere but voicing in games like D4, Battlefield 4 and especially Ryse etc. are most welcome.
Saying Fire Volley or Archers Cover Me in Ryse through Kinect saves you a beating and time trying to hold down the LB button believe me.

 

Yeah, voice commands with Kinect are awesome - I find "need medic!" in Battlefield 4 so incredibly useful.

 

IM a firm fan of Kinect 2.0 for voice command and in game use when it's available. D4 is a quirky game that utilises it brilliantly. Wouldn't want a One without it. Oh and not having to use the controller to use Netflix is great.

Day 1 owner here and love Kinect. Not a lot of use game wise but for general navigation, signing in, recording and now taking snapshots its awesome!!

Game wise I'd check out the sale that's on and grab a few deals.

Ryse is worth a play through although I'd rent or get cheap.

Titanfall is brilliant and still going strong player wise. Just need to focus on popular modes.

If you like driving games then Forza 5 and FH2 are both hard to beat.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is a very underrated shooter.

Killer Instinct is a no brainer since you can DL for free.

Future exclusive games to look out for would be Quantum Break, Forza 5, Tomb Raider, Halo 5, Ori etc
