Had two 14 day trial codes for Xbox Live Gold, but neither of them activated Gold on my ...

I received the Gears of War edition Xbox One for the holidays and a copy of Halo 5. Both of them came with 14 day trials of Gold, and when I entered the first code, it said it redeemed it, but my account never updated to show that I had Gold.

Huh, I said. So I turned off my console and turned it back on. No dice. I tried the code again, and it says its been used already.

Tried the second 14 day code. Said it redeemed it. Same song and dance as before. Didn't show up, wasn't added to my account, and a power cycle didn't fix anything.

Now, I was gifted another code (for a year of Gold) and I really really don't want to use it because it seems like the Xbox is just eating my codes and I'm not getting anything from em.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Did I mess up somewhere? Who do I need to talk to to get this fixed?

Xbox 14 day trial

I have an xbox 14 day trial activated on one of my accounts. I never entered any billing information or any money inside the account. I was wondering that after this 14 day trial, would I be charged for the xbox live gold? I tried canceling my 14 day trial
but for some reason, it won't let me

 

Upgrading to 1 month Gold while 14 day trial code still active?

I just bought and activated a 14 day xbox live gold trial code online to play "World of Tanks" multiplayer, but I quickly realized (and AFTER I have activated the code) that it was not possible to play such game under a 24-48 hour or 7-14 day trial code;
so my question is:

1) can I just add a 1 month or 3 month Gold code to my account on top of that 14 day trial code to enable all Gold features (and multiplayer) or do I have to wait until the 14 days had gone to be able to upgrade the account?

2) Do anyone knows if such game (World of tanks) is playable with a 1 month or 3 month gold code bought online or do I have to specifically get it (buy it) right from Microsoft website or straight from the console?

3) Is there any other requirements that I might be missing?

Any help would be much appreciated...

I have same issue. I redeemed my code for a free 14 day trial but I redeemed it on the PC. A screen came up saying successful but now neither my account on the PC or on the Xbox shows me as having Gold Live at all. I have restarted the console and have signed
in and out of my account on the PC but it is as though it never registered the code although when I try again it now says code already used. Who on earth can I contact? thanks

 

prepaid codes for less than a month do not work for accounts that have previously had xbox live gold. they used to I believe but xbox had a problem with people going out and buying tons of copys of old games with trial codes included for like $1 a piece
and getting like a year of xblg for like $30 that went to the game publishers and not xbox. I.E(buying 30 copies of something like an ea sports game that's several years old)
