Had to reset Xbox 4 times, need help.

Maybe month back my Xbox started acting wonky. If I would try to get into a game or app, it would refuse to work and just stay on the screen. If I would press the Guide button and let's say try to see someone's profile or join someone's party, once again
it wouldn't work. It wouldn't just leave me on the Guide. To put the nail in the coffin my Xbox would stay on the green startup screen and wouldn't actually work. The only way Ive got it to actually work was to reset my Xbox, but maybe after 2 weeks, it would
go back to the same issues. I have to reset again to fix this atleast temporarily. Is there anything I can do it fix this?

I had a problem with Skype the other day and only resetting fixed it.


What do people think about doing a manual reset once a week just to avoid problems?


I have security camera DVR and it automatically will reboot once a week at a time you can set.
I have it set to reboot Sun at midnight.


I would rather reset once a week and help eliminate any problems that try to Skye with someone
and try and try and try only to have to reboot when I need to do something.


Any thoughts???????

I need help because it takes so long to join party's but most of the time I can't even join them same goes with joining games and I've never had this problem before I've hardware reseted my Xbox a lot of times reset my internet disconnected my internet and
reset my consol nothing seems to work also when I go try to find a match on cod 4 it doesn't work
