    had to re join rewards scheme as account was saying I wasn't part of scheme although I have been a member since day one of scheme now have lost all points and progress why.

    Xbox Live Rewards Scheme

    I have tried signing up to the Xbox Live Rewards scheme and after selecting the yes radio button to say I will participate in the scheme I get a message saying I can't join because of my age. I understand the minimum age for this scheme is 13 and I'm 53!!
    How can the system be misreading my age, when it is correctly entered into my Microsoft account, and what can be done to sign me up to the Rewards scheme?

    Hi Silverbong. You are not a part of the Rewards program. Your region is also not an eligible region to join. You may be referring to a different Rewards scheme. We won't be able to assist you here.

    We see that you are still a member. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/     .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    4 Years + Any benefits?

    I'd recommend joining Xbox Live Rewards if that's what you're looking for. I'm coming up on 6 Years on my XBL account. Been a part of the Xbox Live Reward scheme for over 2 years and managed to get 1100 Microsoft Points back from it.
