    Had to buy a gold membership but already have one...?


    Hi,

    Yesterday I couldn't connect to party chat with my friends. Every time I tried, I had a screen "Get more with gold" which proposed me to buy a xbox live gold membership.

    The only way I could join was to buy a 1 month gold membership.

    BUT, I already have my gold membership which I paid in October 2016 for 1 year....!

    What's the problem and how can I be refund?

    Xbox One Saying I don't have gold membership.

    It says I have gold membership so i tried to play but then it says you have to purchase another gold membership. Therefore i tried to purchase a year of membership but it said you can't buy this because you already had one. I am upset because 1 day it worked
    and the next my xbox one won't operate the way it was supposed to. I hope i didn't waste 500 dollars. Also i have had this xbox one since december. It all doesn't make sense

    You said that you bought a full year xbox live gold membership. So, that's your problem, you had to have used the advertisement on your dashboard to participate the promotion (and by that way you can only buy 6 months, so I presume that you had used other
    ways to buy your Gold membership). You couldn't had used a pre-paid card code or any other way to buy your gold membership, it must had to be using the advertisement. Sorry for the confusion.

    If you buy Gold membership for only one month, so you do not have to buy a membership for at least three months.

    You may try the free month of gold membership which is for new members however i dont know if it still remains or they already removed it :) till you buy gold membership later .
