Had a game refund that was denied twice ?

I recently requested a refund for a game I played 1 hour and was not satisfied with. My request was denied because of excessive time played on the game ? I emailed Microsoft to overturn my request because I felt it was unfair with the amount of time I spent playing the game . I was emailed back with the same response and same reasoning . I recently had a game 6 months ago I had refunded that was accepted that I spent over 2.5 hours playing . How is it possible that game was refunded that had more time spent playing but not the one I just had now ?

I apologize but just a friendly reminder that for refund concerns there is a dedicated team that handles them which is the refund team. There is no direct contact with them, only by submitting a refund request and by replying to their email (refund request confirmation and refund decision). To help you, I would recommend replying to their email.

Thanks, i appreciate the info. Ive contacted them twice so far, they had me do a refund request and then they denied the request.

I submitted a request for a refund after being charged twice for a preorder and it was denied based on the fact that the preorder was made more than 30 days prior (18/09/2022), despite the fact that I wasn’t charged for the preorder until the end of October so had no way to know the order had doubled up.

I’d love to know how I can pay for a preorder twice. Surely you shouldn’t even be able to process a preorder twice on your console, let alone end up paying $320 for a game.

My guess is you could've experienced something like I have where if you've used up a certain amount of refunds within a time (They don't specify the exact amount), they'll deny you a refund. They've done this twice to me already even on games I've only
put a max an hour in.

Problem fixed, had to buy the game twice… but refunded the other copy of the game 👍🏻
