    Hi new to this but wanted to let everyone know that i have had my console 3 weeks and the wireless has broken on the console! I have contacted microsoft who want to take it and repair it and leave my son without a console for god know how long (some of the
    posts on here would suggest a very long time!) , if i return to retailer now they will send for repair as well!! this. this is grossly unfair for my son and shoddy that microsoft and the xbox have failed on my sons machine. i had issues on a ps3 in the past
    they replaced it no problem! anyone else had issues with microsoft here or know where i can complain ?? sorry for the rant!!

    Headset microphone not working

    I'm in a party, and none of my friends can hear me. There is no circular illumination around my gamertag when I try and speak. The microphone is plugged into my wireless controller, and if i press the mute button on the mic, it still illuminates orange.
    I've only had this Xbox One not even 2 weeks. has my headset seriously already broke? If so, I'm not paying for it. Microsoft can send me a new one.

    Don't get the trittons i had 2 pairs in 2 weeks(the first lasted a week and a half before the mic broke and the replacements lasted 3 days before the mic went again) so they went back and i paid the extra towards the turtle beach px21's and have not had
    a problem since

    I would take it back where you got it from and get a replacement

    Yeah,if it's only been 3 weeks then the place where you bought it from should replace it.

    In my experience the longest I've had to wait after sending a console in is 7 working days so hardly a very long time.

    I had issues with mine a few days ago. Easily fixed, I connected a wireless adaptor to the console for about five minutes and signed in. After which I removed the wireless adaptor and it works as it did before I had the supposed hardware issue. But as yours
    is a new console take it back and they will replace it

    any electrical item purchased in the uk before 1st October can be taken back to store for replacement if faulty within 28 days as long as there is no physical damage, if purchased after the 1st October then you have 30 days, after this they can then opt
    for repair or replacement as there choice.

    MS are realy fast with there turnaround sent mine away due to a broken disc drive got it back a week later.

    Yeah,if it's only been 3 weeks then the place where you bought it from should replace it.
