    Hacking


    My son's account was hacked and he was given an enforcement. I have tried twice to file a case but am asked to answer a bunch of questions to file a case review? I do not play x box and even after reviewing all the notes I still could not answer some of
    the questions. I have made multiple calls to support only to be told until I pass the test I can't file a case review. Completely unacceptable that my son is being penalized for something he did not do. Xbox support identified there was a hacker but will not
    life the enforcement.

    I got to play the xboxone and ps4....

    Beachbum don't get in a hacking argument lol. Hacking single accounts is different than hacking into the PSN and stealing account info and credit cards.

    Support cant lift a suspension as they are nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement.

    The enforcement team do not use the forums,filing for a case review is the only way to contact them.

    The questions are there to make sure someone is familiar with & understands the code of conduct/terms of use that you have to agree to when starting a account.

    If you believe the account was somehow compromised then you would need to follow the instructions here

    Microsoft you have a PROBLEM

    Unless a main website or service has been hacked - like PSN, it's not a hack ok.

    Phishing, NOT a hack

    Social engineering, NOT a hack

    Giving someone your LIVE ID to someone else and then losing your account,
    NOT a hack

    Using dodgy software or websites offering free points and what not, then losing your account, still
    NOT a hack.

    Signing up for various suspect websites using the same email address and password for LIVE. then losing your account. still
    NOT a hack.

    If EA was compromised and it held your Windows LIVE ID, this is technically a hack, but it's EA that would have been hacked, not Xbox LIVE. When I say 'hack' I mean a real, sophisticated website or server attack. A hack in the literal sense of the word.

    Leaderboards full of hacks and obvious hacks but nothing been done as of yet

    PC is very easy to hack anyway, not really a big problem, if they can hack PSN then they can hack this.
