So a friend of mine got into some argument with some guy and he threatened my friend that since he *** him off that was going to hack everybody on his friends list. Apparently a mutual friend of ours became a victim of this guy. He ended up putting a hefty
charge on his credit card. I personally don't have anything on my account that is of importance but I would still rather not have some dude with a *** vendetta messing with my settings and all. Anyways is there anything my friend can do? He knows who it is...but
how can that even be proven that the guy hacked our mutual friend?

    :)

Although you have right to be concerned, directly naming other people's gamertag's is against forum rules. The best action for you to take is to file a complaint on the person threatening you and to speak to an Xbox support staff about the situation. Good
    luck!

The best thing I would recommend you and your friend do is avoid player and block communications. If you have any friends is common with this player, you may want to consider removing them, or asking if they would be willing to remove the offending player
    from their list.

Depending on what games you play, you may also want to change your privacy settings so that your recently played list is not visible, so that they cannot follow you from lobby to lobby.

If you receive harassing or threatening text or voice communications, remember to file a complaint to XBL Enforcement and they will investigate.

I hope this advise helps. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
