Hackers in my lobby...

So I am trying to enjoy my first game of the new year in Black Ops 2 and then I join a lobby of S&D where it looks like it will be a fair match. We go into the game and we pick our classes. The first round seemed normal but i wanted a different gun, oops…
guess not… the hacker took care of that and didn't let anybody change classes. In the second round, I see a guy, I shoot but the bullets reflect of him and come towards me! I see if I can play through and then the next round brings a player with the gamer
tag: (mod edit), to have just the stock of a gun and shooting out shots of a VTOL Warship. I didn't believe it and then i watched the killcam… it was too real to be true. At the start of the 4th round, nobody could move and our bodies
were glitching around. After the "migration of hosts," we all head back to the lobby and it was just my friend and I. I wanted to find out who it was so I join the lobby of a player from the other team. I ask who it was and "(mod edit)"
said it was him. He put a message on my screen in large red letters "Report me and you get banned." Of course I'm going to be a little intimidated and left the lobby that they were in fearing that he would be able to retrieve my IP address and hack my account.
Other players that were with him were: (mod edit). I just want the issue resolved and maybe a little bit of gamer tag and console banning to go on please. Thanks and have a Happy New Year

simple question... are there still hackers?

There are still hackers, just not aimbot wallhack etc. Just XP lobby patches

 

God mode raises it's ugly head

Youre kidding right? MW2 was modded/hacked since about two weeks after release, several YEARS ago. Xbox did alot to consoles to temporarily stop the Jtags, but the hackers probably found another way. Just find another lobby and game on. File complaint and
report those hackers, but then move to new lobby and game on. Of course, dashboard first after being in an "infected" lobby.

If you encountered a problem with a player online, you should
File a Complaint on the offending player. You could also report them using the in-game report system.

Indeed, Go ahead and REPORT all the offending players (they have no way of knowing) Then Block communications and Avoid them. You can also report them to Activision/Treyarch for In game consequences. GOOD LUCK and Happy New Year!!!!

Report the player(s) and block communications with them.

As mentioned above,you are not allowed to call out gamertags on the forums.

The only way to report someone is via your console,you can't report anyone via the forums.
