Hackers and modz

Is there a reason why this game seems to have become hacked to pieces by Mods It has progressively gotten worse ending up in XP lobby's for idiots and cheats when looking for games they are not even circumspect about it. Guess little chance of being caught

A example would be two cretins today have reported this pair a number of times over the last month and a half and guess the Live moderators are doing their best on a thankless task(Microsoft need more game moderators). Think this was a pair who where banned
but came back why not block the damn ip addresses !

I apologize for posting the gamertags. I was unaware that naming and shaming was not allowed. I didnt think that hackers and modders had rights to privacy. Like I said, these were very obvious and they offered modz in return for payment.

hello can someone please help,i was playing call of duty 4 some one has sent me hack modz of witch i did not ask for and i dont know how to remove them off my xbox can someone please tell me how to do this so i can remove it.thanks

 

The same thing happens on the PS4. While the enforcement team can ban those people, it's up to the game developers to patch their games to stop it in the first place. But with games like COD, once a new version comes out, the developers ignore the old ones
and stop patching them.

The first 3 lobbies i went into this morning contained numerous cheats so i gave up trying to play.

The problem is that xbl do not care about the legit gamers. They are far more interested in falling in line with the game makers rather than their customers who pay their salaries.

I play cod4 mw and the fact is that all complaints for cheating on this game are routinely ignored.

It suits the game makers as it pushes gamers towards the latest game and it saves xbl money because they can ignore all but the newest games.

Xbl should be insisting that the game makers continue to patch these games and should be investigating complaints to deter cheats but neither ever happens which is why there are so many cheats on this platform.

There are about 100,000 modified gamer scores on cod4 which gives you an idea of the extent of cheating. Almost every lobby has a cheat without a prestige icon and i have lost count of the number of mod menu's i've seen on the screen, players under maps
etc.

Until Xbl alter their stance towards cheating this problem will not go away.

Why don't you guys do you part instead of spending time posting in here and report those hackers and mods so they will get what they deserves via the great and almighty Enforcement team!

 

I do but it seems to make no difference, which is why i stopped buying xbox games. Not worth the money or agro trying to play them,

 

I have been reporting them for years and nothing ever happens. The reason I came on here to post in the first place is because nothing ever happens when you report cheats and for some bizarre reason you cannot contact the enforcement team directly.

 

Well that is new not a single cheat but a team of cheats ! not only god modz but killed from nowhere. Apparently its OK with Microsoft now, to run about with **** insignia and signs or whatever you want they are not interested !

perhaps due to the fact they have lost control of their network !

 

Cheatbox Live do not care about customer service. If they did you would be able to contact the enforcement team and they would have their own staff policing these forums instead of a bunch of sell-out gamers.

The cheating on this shoddy platform is out of control. Cheating has become the norm for many players and Microsoft provide a very hospitable environment to enable this.

Almost every lobby on Cod 4 is infested with cheats. Guy on cod4 today with gamertag iModcodmate. Mod menu all over the screen, teleporting, outside map etc. You can't get more blatant but he will not get banned because none of them ever do. The enforcement
team do not investigate any complaints for cheating on these games.

Microsoft are only interested in maximising revenues and profit. To them money is money. In their eyes a cheat's money is as good as a legit gamer's money. In fact cheat's often have multiple accounts so they are probably more valued customers than legit
gamers. It also helps the cost side of the profit calculation. Routinely ignoring complaints on older games means a smaller enforcement team and less salary costs.
