If you ever run into a player that is breaking the rules, on Xbox Live, then file a complaint through their gamercard. Then the enforcement team will be able to review it, and take action if they need to. XD

Why not play Battlefield. The maps are larger, and the games are longer. You even get to fly helicopters and plains

 

Look at all of the top scores on the leader boards. You can tell that XBOX and Microsoft have moved on to other games which is very sad. MW3 was the best game ever. Dear XBOX, please spend just a little time and effort to remove thousands of MODs on this
game. They are very easy to find...just look at all of the Leaderboards and they are all on top with unbelievable high scores. We got rid of our XBOX because of lack of support on older games (esp MW3)!

 

To everyone saying it's Microsoft's responsibility you're wrong. Microsoft is neither the Publisher or the developer. Publishers assign contract to the developers that a game has to have X amount of years of support and bug fixes which is usually for 2 years,
within this time the dev has to fix all the bugs in order to get their bonus and or money to continue working on a sequal.

But since 100% of the COD games are based on money instead of community they stop any support at the end of their contract period since the money is in the bank and they can't lose it anymore for a broken game.

Have you looked into how the majority of hacks and mods to the Call of Duty titles are done?

They aren't done by modding the game code but by changing Microsoft code and hardware. Activision and their developers can patch all they want but until Microsoft close the door on their end, it's a battle they are always going to lose.

 

Its happening on Microsoft's services, which makes it Microsoft's problem too.

Both parties need to act, in order to win, not just one. The Enforcement team do all they can, but they don't exactly have a big team.

 

The matter falls on both the shoulders of the developer and Microsoft.

The gaming developers are the ones who are responsible for moderating their own game's servers and overall online community. Xbox cannot run around and handle every single game's online community. It just doesn't work that way. I've read numerous articles,
both online and in magazines, on how developers can't afford to patrol all of their title's online communities so they will put all focus on the most currently released game. Call of Duty: World at War was brought into question in all the articles regularly
due to it being one of the oldest but most played games and also among the "dirtiest", modder infected, communities, yet the developer abandoned it for new projects. Which makes sense because a game's online community is at it's busiest when it's released.

With a well patrolled game, new players will buy a copy, players will stick around to keep playing, then there's a higher chance of players purchasing the add-ons which is exactly what the developer wants. Game companies can also pay to outsource their game's
moderation if they want a game to still be moderated but just lack the resources. Usually on the developer's site, around announcements for new releases, they will post some sort of bulletin or PSA mentioning when moderatiom will stop which also includes anymore
updates. However the game's servers always remain open since when you purchased the game you also payed for the online ability, but no where does it say it will forever be hacker or modder free Unfortunately. Same thing happens with the Madden NFL games. About
a month after the Super Bowl and well before draft day there's no more updates and you can't download current rosters. They want you to go out and buy the new game when it's released.

Thats why if you ever read the threads on the Enforcement Team forums you'll read statements from enforcers telling players that if they've been banned or suspended from a specific game they need to go to that game's site and contact them specifically. Xbox
controls moderation of their system such as things including abusing chat or messaging, using unauthorized software, etc. The Enforcement Team is the one who will investigate players that have been reported numerous times for hacking/modding. However, they
have no say in which game still gets moderated and which does not.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this yet, but all updates stop once the online community is also done being moderated by a developer. Also, if anyone is still skeptical on any of this matter feel free to take a quick search through Google. It's all on there.

 

I play WoT all the time and the wargameing administrator says its impossible to hack there server

but there servers are through Microsoft so how is it impossible to hack the servers when my game always glitches and i can not win a match on WoT cause ppl use hacks i think both parties need to ban these hackers or give them 20 years in prison for everytime
they hack it is called cyber crimes and its going on alot in WoT.
