    Hacker took me offline and threats to do so again


    A hacker by the name of [Mod Removed - see Guidelines] has kicked me offline and my whole internet router for a day and says he’ll do it for a week and i wanted some action to be taken so please and thank u for your services.

    Hi Haze446,

    I am sorry to hear about this. This issue sounds wider in scope than Xbox and I'd suggest contacting your ISP to see if they can assist in securing your internet connection. You may also want to consider contacting the police to see if they are able to provide
    any assistance.

    I would try to keep copies of any communication between yourself and [Mod Removed - see Guidelines] as it may be of use to your ISP and the police.

    I hope this issues is resolved quickly for you and that you can get back to gaming...

    That said, you have referenced you router being hacked. I would suggest you contact your router's support center and change all your passwords. All of them.

    Then I would report the incident to the Police.

    This will be a DoS or DDoS attack. As denis97g states, there is Little that Xbox can do. If they have threatened by messa or voice, report them. You should also as stated report to your ISP as in most cases it is a criminal offence.

    Thanks for coming to us in the forums with this situation. As the Ambassadors have stated, it would be best for you to report this DDOS activity to your ISP directly as this is happening to your specific IP address. You may also wish to report this individual
    via the
    Enforcement website     if you're also receiving harassment via messages or other means on Xbox Live.
    Please also bear in mind the Xbox Forum Guidelinesin relation to "naming
    and shaming" other players.

    Sorry about that, you should contact your ISP to make a official compliant , maybe the police too.

    I suggest you to use a VPN service too, like this your ip is hidden for others...
