Hacker Threat

I was playing a game and some hackers came on and asked if I wanted to buy mods, I declined. He then threatened that I needed to give him a $25 Amazon gift card code or my account would be inaccessible by tomorrow. He proceeded to call my by my real name
and the state I live in. How do I report this person? I have changed my password and set up the two step log-in process to hopefully protect myself from this. Is there more I need to do?

Hacker Threats.

There is no such thing as "hacking" on xbox live, there is social engineering, there is "MS points codes generators (where you have to input your live id and password)" so actually no one is hacking but stealing information to recover your account.

 

If you believe that an Xbox Live player has violated the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, you can file a complaint against that player. To do so, open the player's profile, select File Complaint, and choose the specific reason for the complaint. You may choose
from the following:

Profile: The player's gamertag, personal picture, or personal information contains inappropriate material.

Text and Voice Communications: The player used vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening language in voice or text communications.

Video Communications: The player was vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening in video communications.

Tampering: The player tampered with a game, an Xbox 360 console, Xbox Live, or the feedback system.

If your account is compromised, you need to call up phone support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) and ask to open an Unauthorized Access Investigation (UAI) and don't get off the phone until you do. This will lock your account during the investigation, and
the process can take upwards of 30 days to resolve, sometimes longer in more complex cases.

 

During the game session the player repeatedly made threats and comments towards me a player in the match session saying "I am going to hack your Xbox live account." This player through the duration of the match continued to make those comment towards me.

In your case, report the person through your console. You can also block them. Enforcement does not read this forum and will only respond to complaints submitted through your console.

Threats of hacking and DDOS usually carry the stiffest suspensions.
