Hacker sending a ddos attack

I was in a party with some friends and this random guy joined and started ragging on us and hating on our gamertags and I told the party leader to kick him and lock the party. The guy that joined was like kick me I dare you just do it see what happens and
the party leader kicked him and them almost immediately all of us started reciving a ddos packet overload the killed our internet for about 15 min his gamertag first letter was Y

What the hell do ddos attacks have to do with security? These hackers are a sad bunch of basement dwellers.

 

I was in the party also and he was constantly bashing our gamertags and daring us to kick him. I wasn't the party leader at the time. When the leader did kick him within ten seconds of it I froze off line and he had sent such a large ddos packet that I
lost internet on every thing. The first letter in his gamertag is a Y.

You have to reset your router, and if that dosent work and he keeps kicking you, call your internet service provider and let them know you have been a victim of a Ddos attack and would desperately like to change your ip address, after they have changed your
ip address , block communication with the person that is atacking he, ill tell you how he can get your ip....

By you sending him a messaging, being in the same game lobby as him, same party, private chat, so try to avoid that and he wont bother you anymore.
