    Hacker ruining game for people


    Hi,

    I was recentely playing MW2 and a player with the gamertag [Mod Removed] hacked my account, freezing my console. He then progressed to send me abusive messages and sent me a message saying 'good luck ever playing mw2 again'. How do i go
    about reporting this player. I have reported him on the xbox but I am not convinced anything will be done. He/she needs to be removed from the system. In games, he was hacking the system, being able to float, teleport and make 29 kills in the first minute.
    It ruins the gaming experience for other players. When he freezed the console, it came up on screen with our gamer tag, and then he clicked an option which said 'f*** up'.

    I really like titanfall but do you think......

    Kill streaks always ruined the experience for me mainly...people were always spamming them in and ruining games...they should probably steer clear of that...don't give the hack/modders too much ammo.

    How did he ruin the game? It's not like he had a god-mode hack on. Sure it's an idiotic thing and I'm glad he got banned/reset, but it didn't affect you.

    Sorry to hear it. First off I wanted to mention that it is against the ToU of the forums to name and shame.

    You were right to report the player via the dashboard reporting tools. That report will go to the PET to investigate and take any action on.

    Now the bad news. I'm afraid that you'll need to go through the developers to address the cheating issue within the game. A lot of people before you have had this happen to them and, while a negative score can prevent you from entering multiplayer in the
    game, it is not hopeless. If you have friends that you play with they can invite you to their fireteam so you can continue to play online. Otherwise you would need to create a new gamertag to play online.

    The developers may not bother with this game, but that still doesnt justify the hackers/cheaters ruining these games. They are breaking the ToS of Xbox Live so Microsoft can easily do something about these people

    Some hackers get way some things like modding the games which ruins these games, i don't like it because the World of War got ruined by hackers using jtag to go online so i don't play those old games no more.
