Along with what Obsessive pointed out, a Denial of Service attack is the business of your Internet Service Provider, not MS or LIVE.

Xbox LIVE accounts can not be 'hacked' at least not in the literal sense you may believe. Of course there are many ways to have an account stolen, but non of them involve 'hacking'. If you have not give out your email address and password for your LIVE
account to anyone then it should be perfectly safe.

If this attack nocked you offline, that is a DOS attack and isn't strictly speaking hacking at all. Illegal yes, hacking? No.

 

People are about to show up and use the lame phrase "name and shame" and tell you that you can't do it. Honestly, I'm not sure what you expected here. That you would show up, drop a name, and some enforcer would run off to drop the hammer because you said
so? Block and file a complaint from your console. Nothing more, nothing less.

That's kind of an absurd thing to say. You're basically telling them to stop playing a game they potentially thoroughly enjoy because of a hacker.

You're going to find modders, hackers, and cheaters of all sorts in every online game. People find ways to abuse, manipulate, and exploit the system to favor them in every game. Some games just have more.
