    i was hacked for the 2nd day in a row and the credit was spent before i could change my gamertag i asked agent to credit my account with enough to change it

    Phone support is incorrect on that. You need to call and specifically ask them to open an unauthorized access investigation. Your account might be frozen during this investigation, so be aware of that.

    If someone compromised your account and used your Currency on your Microsoft account or credit card, They should be able to refund you, That`s what they did for me 3 years ago, "Hopefully it's not changed" They might have denied it because
    they have not detected that anyone has compromised your account, Hence the none Refund due to that factor, Who knows,
    Try again. If that was my money being spent, I`d do everything in my power to get it restored.

    Microsoft you have a PROBLEM

    Unless a main website or service has been hacked - like PSN, it's not a hack ok.

    Phishing, NOT a hack

    Social engineering, NOT a hack

    Giving someone your LIVE ID to someone else and then losing your account,
    NOT a hack

    Using dodgy software or websites offering free points and what not, then losing your account, still
    NOT a hack.

    Signing up for various suspect websites using the same email address and password for LIVE. then losing your account. still
    NOT a hack.

    If EA was compromised and it held your Windows LIVE ID, this is technically a hack, but it's EA that would have been hacked, not Xbox LIVE. When I say 'hack' I mean a real, sophisticated website or server attack. A hack in the literal sense of the word.
