Hacked & no compensation

my account was hacked yesterday. There were two unauthorized charges on my account. The culprit purchased the new fast and furious movie twice. These charges overdrafted my checking account. So it pulled from savings so my mortgage payment did not go through.
Not to mention I incurred fees associated with over draft. Microsoft did refund the two charges. However I explained because my account was hacked and it was not my own doing could they compensate me more monetary funds and Microsoft's supervisor stated it's
not their fault get it from your banking institution. I feel this is a lack of empathy and if I had the appropriate security measures to protect my account and it was still hacked the onus should be on Microsoft corporation. All I have to say people is beware.
I'm moving over to PlayStation format after this fiasco.

Bleh, lag compensation. If dedicated servers mean no lag compensation I am on board.

Xbox servers have never been hacked.

As the others have said,if you lost 30 days in the past year then it's a problem at your end by the sounds of it.

Either way,you ain't getting any compensation.

 

It's not Microsofts fault so why should they give you compensation?

There are more than enough security measures available to prevent your information being "hacked" which you can find out about here

You've been refunded for the 2 charges by Microsoft,anything else is down to your bank/credit card provider.

Trust me,the security measures over on PlayStation are not as secure as they are on xbox but feel free to get a PlayStation,that's entirely up to you.

 

Excess fees is upto your bank and you
