Hacked account, refund rejected, no help from online chat.

Hi,

To recover a hacked account please go to: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/account-profile/manage-account/compromised-account-solution

You will need to make a new microsoft account that __isn't the same email as your now stolen account__ as this is the account you'll use to contact support.

On the right click 'Contact Us' and fill in the 'Describe your issue' box to say 'hacked account'. This will give you the option to web chat or phone up support.

Once you've got the account back you can go to

https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders and refund the game from there

You have to reply to the rejection email

What would be classed as an insignificant amount of play time on the game?

I disputed about the game time and performance issues with the refund team. Their answer to that was I've exceeded the amount of eligible refunds within a year but I have never made a claim prior to this

As I understand, the confirmation of the refund mentioned that you have already made refunds in a one year period, and that was also the reply to the dispute, I don't really believe is related to the time in game, just trying to explain the situation, as we can't really say is because of this or that, since that information is only accessible by the people in charge of refunds

You can share screenshots of the time played here and the refunds list on your account by using the filters on that site
