Hacked account leads to permaban

Hello, i am posting for my husbands account hes had for 15 years. We game regularly. However he hasnt played any games on xbox for at least three days. When he went to log on today it said he was permanently banned due to harrassment and threats. He only
plays with me, and i dont understand how he got banned when he hasnt even been playing for three days... we are very concerned someone possibly hacked into his account or there has been a mistake. We just want to understand what happened because the resoning
behind the ban is impossible.

He already tried filing a claim and cant even do that because he didnt pass the ridiculous quiz by one question. Again he does not harrass anybody... we had someone harrasing us last we played and we reported and blocked them. Now hes the one thats banned?

Please he is active duty and gaming is all we have. .....

He would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com for information about the ban and to see about submitting a case review.

Bans are not always issued the same day as the action. Investigations can take time, so the ban could be for something that took place days or weeks ago.

He should be able to try again after 24 hours. That would be the only way to possibly have the ban lifted.

If that was the situation that caused the ban, if he responded to the person in a way that violated the code of conduct he could still be punished.

Well as of right now it's not showing and until it starts showing in game I will continue to post on the issue. All should be permabanned for using and/or providing such hacks.
