GWG for April 2015

@King..Waaasup..I understand your point there but to me the privilege was to play online multiplayer with an active gold account (which i hardly do lol) i was just taken by surprise i guess as i hadn't heard about the new changes:/ I probably should start

Did I miss a change affecting the GwG program on the 360, such that an active XBL Gold membership must be maintained to access the games you've downloaded on the Xbox 360?

I understand that an active XBL Gold subscription is required for access to the
Xbox One GwG games after you've claimed them, but I'm not findng reference to that type of change to the 360 GwG program.

I copied the footnote explaining the Games with Gold program from the existing webpage:

You still keep your G.W.G. games on your 360 even if you revert back to silver. The "Hostage Games on a Conditional basis" is only for the X Box One.

You guys can refer to these games any way you want, but they're still free for gold subscribers. So far even game I got from GWG was €.0.00. Meanwhile silver members are paying €14.99 etc.

The fact that you have to keep an active membership does not change the fact that they gave these games to you at no extra cost or for free.

 

@electroflying, you do not need to keep an active gold account to keep access to the games on the 360.

Only the xbox one has that rule.

 

I think they're free games like most people say they are. Think of it this way, most of us paid gold before to be able to play online, or use party chat or hey just for Netflix when that was behind a paywall. Now, we still pay for gold for mainly online
but I'm sure GWG has made it more appealing for people. I've seen long time silvers go gold just for the games and that's fine. But in my opinion, they're still free because you're not paying extra for a membership you've already paid for long before the games
with gold and keep paying for. With that said, I can't wait to try CoL, the pool game that's apparently bad and Terraria! Maybe Judgment even though I played the crap out of that. Good luck to anyone going for the seriously judgmental achievement. You will
become really judgmental lol.

 

Well, after reading Leo, and KILLERS post.

Its back to saving up for a 500 GB OXM HDD for the 360 again.

Please Microsoft. USB External HDD support... And allow me to play my Original Black Label Halo CE games on it. All it would cost you is the effort to formulate and release a patch.... Please!

 

@Electro, you can add the free fast and furious game xbox one version to your download history too, like you did with the other free xbox one games.

You need to do it from this site though, i couldn`t find a way to do it from my console.

 

Happy to see Army of Two is free. I will have to give it a try when I get time.
