This is one of my favourite announcements. I love Gwent and Ive spent countless hours playing.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game (Game Preview) was sent to me and I have already contacted Xbox support to checked that the license of the code was revoked. I hope you can help me .

Definately a Nilfgaard loyalist. So much so its the only deck I have in my deck builder. Recent update was a bit buggy but I imagine they will tend to these issues before release. Balance wise it feels like a true FTP without forcing a PTW mechanic.

 

I never understood the game granted I only tried maybe 5 matches all of which I lost

 

Magic the Gathering will cost you less but it's nice that they've making this into the game.

Good fun for Witcher fans.

 

The Witcher 3 is so great,for me i always found that playing Gwent was a waste of time.

But cool that they made this game for Gwent fans.

Off topic,i'm a bit disapointed not to see anything about Cyberpunk 2077.(snif)

Yep I like this! Good intel Brand! Got the cheevo for winning a round with over 187 score the other night, It was the final round and I scored 188! Only the second time I ever hit that high a score. First time I thought it was in the bag and the
opponent dropped a scorch on me at the last card!

 

Im so happy this was actually the announcement! I love CD Projekt Red, they're so awesome!

 

I think my highest score in Gwent for 1 round was 225 or something close to that.

 

Gwent is still a complete mystery to me lol but I've never been into these card type games.

@ Tzar,they did say that Cyberpunk wouldn't be at E.3. about a week before.Shame as I was really looking forward to seeing something about it as well.

^^ lol. It was a very luck hand where all my cards attack power was tripled and they were like 8 to begin with.

There are a few cards you can use that when you play them, they'll bring another card that has been discarded or destroyed back into play. Make sure the card that comes back into play also has the ability to bring another card into play when you play it.
I usually discard that type of card at the beginning. I play Northern Realms decks and you have to discard 2 cards at the beginning.

 

Luv this. I may be wrong, but I thought they said it would be FTP game...if I'm wrong please address my wrongness...lol. They don't have the Nilfgardian deck which kinda suks. I know it can be a crutch but I love me some spies...going monsters or N. Realm

I love the spy cards. I'm not sure if it's free to play. Even if it is, I'll still play it and dump some money into it to support CD Projekt Red. They are a class developer.
