I just signed up this week and so far, I like the casual atmosphere of no requirements demanding I spend X # of hours a week gaming when I have family, work & a second home business to run. If you have a demanding life with family and work, give it a shot.

Sometimes, we are met with disbelief when it comes to our claim that we, a gaming group active since 2007, can truly garner an older age of gamers so readily. When we write, "Clan for Adults," what does that mean? We certainly don't beat folks over the head
with rules, ever-increasing restrictions during the registration process, or even mind-numbing probation periods. Do you know who needs such unfriendliness? Clans that don't
actually have a culture of mature, casual gaming.

The proof is in pudding, as they say. Let's take a snapshot of the birthdays happening right now (April 30th to May 6th, 2015) within the Gunslingers community. In the present time range, there are 41 of our members blowing out candles. The average age of those
members is thirty-six. They, like the rest of the Gunslingers, know the demands of parenthood, full time work, mortgages, rent, and other obligations that only a fellow adult can understand.

And we understand how that places time limits to your gaming habits. We know the satisfaction of getting home from work and being able to decompress with a round of video gaming with folks our own age. We know the mellow celebration that is felt when we reach
the weekend and get to crack up some brews while sharing some multiplayer hi-jinks with buddies, virtual or otherwise.

Gunslingers Newsletter: Week of Feb. 2nd, 2015

I know, I know. It has been a while since I last posted a clan update here. That is because the first month of 2015 has been incredibly active for us! Here are some highlights of the more noteworthy events going on within the Gunslingers frontier.

New Forum! The end of January marked the six year birthday of our clan's own forum, and we have celebrated the occasion by giving it a massive overhaul! We have improved the visual and performance of the forum software. Additionally, our members can
now take full advantage of enhanced versions of our own custom flash arcade, member blogs that every member automatically gets and can customize as they wish, make use our Tapatalk support, and grab quicker attention of fellow GSers by using the mention function
while posting. A special tip of the hat must be given to
GS*Dunkaroo69 for getting the project off the ground and to

Over 160 New Members in One Month! Our overall clan welcomed over one hundred and sixty fellow mature, casual gamers into our fold during the month of January. Talk about starting the New Year out with a bang! If you were on the fence on whether or not
to join us, come and take part in the party! We keep your gaming experience fun, casual, and utterly on your own time table.

Gunslinger Games Awards! During the entire month of January, we hosted our annual tradition of voting on our favorite gaming experiences during 2014. Have you ever watched the results of an awards show and wondered, "Who picked the winners?" Well, we
sure did! That is why the most active clan exclusively for adult gamers collectively cast our votes on over a dozen gaming categories. The results will be revealed via podcast and Gunslinger Gazette article at the end of this week!

Episode #4 of Gaming News w/ Fed Architect! Gunslinger leader, Fed Architect, hosts our Youtube video program that briefly condenses current events in gaming and within the GS clan.

New GS* Leaders! We are welcoming a few outstanding men and women into Gunslinger Leadership this week. They have all proven a great amount of help in representing our friendly and inviting nature, and I can't wait to reveal who they are later this week.

2014 is officially over. Being a clan that attracts older gamers from around the world with different backgrounds and additional game interests, we have an annual tradition.

THE GUNSLINGER GAMES AWARDS!

What 2014 games did you enjoy the most? With more than sixteen voting categories for this year's edition, you are invited to make your voice heard every step of the way, regardless if you are a greenhorn Gunslinger member or an veteran one.

Right now, we are at the tail end of the nomination phase of the awards, in which you decide which games even deserve to be voted on. After January 7th, the voting polls are opened based on those results. You have until the 24th to cast your vote. After that,
we take the top picks from all the appropriate categories and create the "Game of the Year" poll and have one week to pick which title gets our ultimate tip of the hat.
