Lol.. I'm not attacking Americans, i have American friends, I'm not suggesting I've never played them(read carefully) I'm talking about the popularity and the differences of culture and where the markets target...

I suppose I should have expected some ignorant comments, to quibble over the fact that shooter games aren't the most popular games is wrong... Is it a good thing? bad thing? I don't know thats not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about games marketed
for the north American markets that influence European markets that represent a different culture and the need for more variety.

Enough is enough for me.. No more shooting games, I have money in my pocket but the market has nothing to offer me... The latest new releases: Thief, Titanfall, Watch Dogs, Destiny are all just the same old crap with different characters and I guarantee
American accents lol

 

America = 3rd largest population in the world. Why not cater to them? It's easy to see their/our influence in the games industry.

 

This is a rather laughable thread, no offense. The reason why games like these are made has nothing to do with culture... it's because they sell/make the publisher money. If people didn't buy these games, then they wouldn't be made. It is merely catering
to customer's demands.

 

Yes I agree entirely brand, and I've stressed that very point... the trouble is that the market gets saturated with whats successful and then comes the tipping point..
