    Guitar Hero Xbox 360 Dongle


    So I updated my computer recently with the latest Windows update ( the 2004 update I believe, ) and since then I haven't been able to sync my wireless guitar hero guitar to my dongle.The dongle won't
    light up. I've tried the 2 easy methods I could Google search, going to device manager and update the driver, pick from list, and finding the Xbox controller properties, but that didn't work. I then tried uninstalling from the device and restarting my computer.
    When I did this, as my computer was starting back up the light started to flash, but as I got to the login screen, sadly it had not fixed the issue. So now I'm here asking the community if you have experience this as well and my have found a solution to my
    problem. If anyone knows how to and can give me instructions on how to fix this issue, it would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

    When Guitar Hero first came out on Xbox One Activision made a dongle available that allowed some of the Xbox 360 Guitar Hero instruments to be used with the Xbox One version of the game. If you carry out an internet search for Xbox One Guitar Hero dongle

    Hi, do you have any Rockband or Guitar hero drums/guitars etc or even the Guitar hero live usb dongle? That dongle has been known to cause similar issues when left connected to the Xbox.

    As far as I am aware, the Guitar Hero Live guitars need to have the dongle to work. I am also under the belief that the dongles are console specific so if you cant find a Xbox 360 one, it should work.
