Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock - Import - Error 80153003

Hi dear XBOX Support Team,

I want to Import songs of my other GH-Games to GH:WOR.

Steps I do:

• I eventually enter the Store (which often says, "server not available - try again later"
  
• I choose one of Band Hero Import, GH World Tour Disk-Import, Guitar Hero Metallica Import.
  
• I select Import
• I once entered my unique ID from the back of the specific game (GH:Metallica for example) for all games that I own
  
• I get transferred to the Xbox Store and confirm the purchase
• I get error code 80153003
• The content is downloading and downloading eventually fails at 99%

What I tried to far:

• Waited for the public service announcement that there are problems buying content to be resolved
  
• I cleared the System Cache
• I cleared the Market Cache
• I stopped the download
• I restarted the game and the console
• I tried importing content from another GH game

If you can directly "buy" the content into my account for me I would gladly accept the offer and hereby grant permission to charge my linked Paypal account for the sum of the imports (which should be 2.49€ for Band Hero, 1.89€ for GHWT and 2.99€for Guitar
Hero: Metallica)

I am trying to import Guitar Hero 5 into Guitar Heros warriors of rock.

I successfully entered the code but when it went to the payment screen, I continually get the same error : 80153003

I have tried the solutions suggested (clear the cache in memory and on the hard drive, delete the download, restart the xbox)

When I next go in to the shop, and try to download, it doesn't ask me for the import code again but takes me to payment options.

When I select a payment option, I get the same error code : 80153003

If I then check Active Downloads, I have the Guitar Hero 5 import of 2.7 gigs and it's at 99%. Sometimes it finishes, sometimes it bounces from 1% to 99% but it never installs.

How can I complete this?

 

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with the game. Unfortunately the code can either mean that there is an issue with the service at the moment or that the content you're trying to access is no longer available on the system.

Hey Alex, i have the same issue.

I know that the GH-Servers are down, but i think MS has to fix this Problem, so that we can at least download the Disk-Imports. That is an important Gamefeature we payd for!

I assume that the content is still available on Microsoft Servers because it's downloading something... My Xbox wouldn't download gigabytes of nothing, would it?

There's a Problem with the service then, that's why I made this post, so Microsoft Xbox guys take a look at it and get it fixed. And I'm apparently not the only one having this issue.

I now know that EA has shut down all other DLCs for Guitar Hero because of "reasons"... But the Unique Owner ID Validation still works so you DO VALIDATE whether we own another Guitar Hero game or not (So either these Servers work or MS does it). Also the
validation only takes place once if successful so the state if saved somewhere. Also the content seems to be available still. So I don't understand what the current problems are.

If you please could have a look at this.

Same issue here. The codes were accepted; I attempt to purchase and receive an error message of 80153003. The download starts anyway, for some reason, hits 99%, then says it couldn't download. So it's able to access the content, which is still up on the
GH store (the only thing still up there). My guess is that it would work if someone would just accept our money.

 

Sorry to hear you guys are still having issues with this. However, if you've tried all the steps listed at the link provided above then you should either set up a repair of the console (as suggested at the link) or contact phone support in your region(s)
for more assistance.

I've tried all the steps listed multiple times - still the same result. Repair of the console seems... a bit like overshooting to me... Other DLCs for other games are downloading and installing just fine. I will try to contact phone support.

Maybe they want my money as Nagu87 suggested

Hey there, Mendolin! I'm very sorry to see that you are unable to import in Guitar Hero. All Guitar Hero content was removed last year, and that is likely the reason why you are seeing that error code. It cannot import any content if there is no content
to pull from the servers; that error code indicates an invalid offer, generally related to tokens that are active tokens but pointing to no content. While the Guitar Hero store is still "active" in game, any content that it is linked to in our Marketplace
would not pull anything back.

If you are seeing that this content is still available in your region on your console or on the website, please post back a screenshot of what you are seeing so that we can look into it further. You will need to upload the screenshot to a photo hosting website
of your choice, and then post the link here. If you feel more comfortable sending this to me in a private message, simply hit the envelope at the bottom of my post to do so.

Hopefully this clears things up for you guys! If you have any other questions about in game related issues, you will want to
reach out to Activision.

I'm glad to finally hear an official statement on this.

I'm still able to download all the content, up to 99%, then it fails and starts again. The speed at which the download progresses is very well linked to the size of the download and the general speed at which I regularly download content from the marketplace
so I have the impression it's not downloading "nothing". I'll try and make a screenshot later.

I'd rather be able to download and install the content rather than having the last peaces of it removed from the servers.

What you are likely experiencing is the callout that your console is doing, it gets a time out error (essentially), and then tries again.

What I am looking for is if you see it within the Marketplace, not whether it acts like it downloads or not. If you are able to search for any of these in the Marketplace and it gives you a "purchase" button, please let us know. Other than that, all the
content has been removed and what you are experiencing is very much a symptom of that.

 

[Mod Removed]! This is not DLC it is importing music from a purchased game into the setlist of the newest guitar hero. As stated several times already it actually downloads the files they have not been taken down as well as our 1 time use
import ID codes being verified & accepted...it just stops at 99%(doesnt unlock)because the payment will not process. The import codes are still being accepted the import songs/setlists are still up and being downloaded. When something is removed from the
marketplace the "confirm purchase" button if not grayed out acts in a very specific way unlike this error code. We are not asking for DLC but the features of our games. How about if need be YOU contact Activision.
[Mod Removed], fix this [Mod Removed] and make some $$$ Microsoft or have it pulled down altogether because it has NOT been.
