Guitar Hero 5 Damaged Content package.

I keep getting a damaged content package warning whenever I start up Guitar Hero 5. It says "A content package appears damaged or unreadable. You will not be able to use or access any downloadable content. Please re-download the damaged content package."
I follow the steps in the suggested solution of this post: Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened..

I ended up completely removing Guitar Hero 5 from memory, and it still didn't work. Any other ideas?

Guitar Hero DLC: Damaged

On occasion while playing Guitar Hero, it will tell me some DLC is damaged and the game resets. This seems to happen more when Im disconnected from XBOX live. Does anyone know which content is damaged ? Im going to try playing through my content over the
next few days and see which one is damaged.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your DLC.

Do the files appear corrupted when you go into your Storage Devices where they are located?

Also, try these steps.

1. Clear Cache x2
2. Delete corrupted files
3. Clear Marketplace Data
4. Delete your DLC for GH
5. Redownload your profile
6. Redownload your DLC for GH

Let us know if your still encountering this issue.

 

You must be signed into Xbox Live. Secondly, you need to transfer your license files over. GH can't tell you you need to sign in. It just says everything is broken.

 

That fixed that error. Now I'm getting: "The downloadable content is damaged or has changed. As a result, the game has restarted." And this is after re-downloading all my my guitar hero-related DLC.

 

Alright following the steps in that first link fixed that error. Everything works now.
