[Guide] Want to become a Master Warden? Take the mantle of the Blight Queller?

If you're looking to get the Master Warden or Blight Queller achievement in this game by killing 500/1000 Darkspawn but worried that it's glitched, worry not.

Do your stats show that you have slaughtered the blight by the thousands but still no achievement? Again, worry not, the stats can be a bit misleading.

It appears that the stats show how many Darkspwan your entire party kills, but the achievement seems to only care about the Darkspawn YOU, as a player character, have killed.

The stats show "unsaved" kills. That means, if you killed 10 Darkspawn then died and had to reload, those kills are not added to the stats, but are added to the achievement counter, which is nice.

So there are a few ways to go about getting this achievement "easily". The Dwarven Origin story has some Darkspawn that you can make work of quickly, then reload until pop.

OR

You can make it to the final battle, make a save. There are a few patches of 30 -50 Darkspawn you can easily take down, and then reload. It would also behoove you to set the difficulty on that save to "Casual" or another low setting of your choosing for
brevity sake.

Same way anyone else does when they want to get there fast? Went to Blight Town via Master Key shortcut. You go down the elevator below Firelink shrine, then up the stone stairs near the Blacksmith from Vinhiem. There's a locked door that leads to the Valley
of Drakes and it's the place people normally exit Blight Town after beating Quelaag (Bell Guardian Boss #2).

After getting down into the swamp it's just about getting through the Great Hollow without being cursed, and then outrunning the Hydra to reach the master of the Dragon Covenant. Used Homeward Bone to escape back to the top of the Great Hollow, and there
you are.
