Guide problem on Xbox one after the recent update

Does anyone know if there's a fix or a patch due regarding the bug/issue with the guide I can't invite friends to parties can't message friends I can't record clips or screenshots can anybody help me out it's frustrating that you pay so much for a console
and there support team do nothing to support you when things go wrong ?

External Hard Drive not recognized after update

Prior to the most recent update, my 1TB external hard drive held most of my installed Xbox One games. After my system updated today it no longer recognizes the external hard drive at all.

I have followed through the external storage device troubleshooting guide and followed each step with no change.

Was this affected by the most recent updates?

 

TV Through Console

LG 50' with a Sky+HD box running through and its great.......after the recent update. I still think the tv suffers from juddering whilst in snap though but the one guide works well enough. Game mode on.

 

Hi there. If you are referring to an update with the preview program, you will want to post in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx)

If not, and even if it is a preview update, try holding the Xbox logo on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and try it again.

 

I've tried the soulution you have put forward still no change it is in the preview program thanks for the link to the right forum the Ken big help

 

You're welcome. You'll also want to make sure you have the most recent update. Go to Settings, Console info, and Update Console if there is an update available. There have been daily builds lately, so hopefully it gets fixed for you. You'll also want to
make sure to report all issues from the Preview app on your console so that data from your console gets sent to Microsoft.

 

Yea I've done all that already mate I had an update everyday for the last 5 days and then the one yesterday gave me these problems and I haven't had one today just hopefully it's sorted soon and hopefully before the full release so no one else has these
problems

 

I've just checked again there and I've got an update it just took a while to come up hopefully this sorts my problem I will post and keep everyone updated on whether this is a patch or a fix for the problem and again thanks a lot Ken you have been the only
help I've had and you've been a big one at that really appreciated
